I thought I would share a custom Toolbar button and context menu items I made for opening pages and links In Private. Much more convient than openening a new window and having to enter the URL from your previous page.
Overview
- Add a In Private button to the command bar. This button will open the current page/tab In Private.
- Add right click menu item for links and images (href) to open In Private.
- Add right click menu item for page background to open the page In Private.
Install
In C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer create a new folder named
Tools
Unzip the contents to:
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Tools
Contents: InP.ico, Private.htm, PrivateLink.htm and Registry.reg
Download Zip file
After extracting the files, double click Registry.reg
Open IE and customize your toolbar to add the In Private button.
