Well, I'm not a webmaster but I know that
Trident Engine doesn't respect W3C Standard, even if IE 8 RC 1 can use compatibility mode.
I noticed IE 8 RC 1 is faster and lighter in comparison with previous versions anyway.
However I'll keep on using Firefox waiting for IE 8 final to express a judgment.
