1. Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. Awesome scanning speed, Superb Detection rate of Virus, Malware, Spyware etc, Fire wall and Web security. Fast system
2. Bit defender ( All in one like KIS 2009)
3. Avast. Best free AV ( Use with a good anti spy like Webroot Spy sweeper, A squared anti malware, Spyware terminator {a little system hog, but very good protection and free} or Spybot S&D)
4. AVG antivirus and anti spy as above

NOD 32 is a very good AV, but the detection rate of malware/spyware is bad. I experienced it. If you want vundoo trojan, win 32 trojan down loader in your system, then use NOD 32 alone. I Suggest go for Kaspersky if u have the money. For free, Avast + Spyware terminator + Spybot S&D is a good combination

PS - Nothing can beat KIS 2009 + Webroot Spysweeper + A Squared Anti Malware + Windows Defender. A wonderful combination I have. My machine runs super Fast, Just a click is enough
