Great find,
thank you johnny.rotton
And I noticed it is really cheaper![]()
Rohos Mini Drive creates hidden and encrypted partition on the USB flash drive memory. You work with the files on the hidden partition without opening a special program. Those who have megabytes of sensitive files on the USB drive and seriously concerned with a data security, cannot imagine their USB stick without the hidden volume that is created using this tool.

Jr's Review: This is a very handy app for those who like to keep personal data backups that little bit more safe. Very intuitive software and at a good price. $Free

Looks similar to TrueCrypt.
From the description, the obvious plus side seems to be that unlike TrueCrypt (in portable mode), Rohos Mini Drive does not need to be run with administrative privileges.
The minus side is that the product is closed source, and small proprietary software security vendors are unlikely to be scrutinized by any security lab, unless perhaps, they are paid to do that.
Are we talking about any USB drive or only U3 devices like that of sandisk
It worked on my flash voyager so I would assume any ritesk.
System requirements:
* Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008/ Seven
* USB 1.1/2.0 port
* USB flash drive or U3 Smart flash drive with 500 Mb or more free space
When i add shortcuts in the "autorun" folder of my rohos encrypted drive, they only work when my virtual drive is the same driveletter as in the shortcut.
In a windows shortcut you can not remove the drive letter, because it says the path is incorrect.
Is there a variable to declare wich assigns the actual virtual drive letter?
Thnx!
