Our forum member UntameDKreationZ has created a smart tool to create a system restore point in a single click: Quick Restore Maker.

The Author says:

I created a free application to easily create Restore Points with just a single click if anyone is interested. Purpose is mainly just to make it easier to do. If anyone digs into their windows os like I do you find yourself creating a lot of restore points so instead of going through the normal process which includes going to my computer\system properties\advanced system properties\system protection and creating one or going to start menu\control panel\system properties...... All you do is double-click the app, wait while it creates it and voila!
