Hmm I can consider that as an option. Let see how happyAndyK reply to it.

    Sorry

    Google Translation:

Unfortunately, the true display of "delay time" is not! Then on systems where there is still nothing has been changed the value is 400ms. However, the tool displays 0. Small error in the query entry ExtendedUIHoverTime.

    Default thanks

I actually wanted thumbnails smaller and slower.
Is there any way to increase the delay time above 1000ms?
Regardless, with the Tweaker, I am much happier!

    Thanks,
    jami

    Try this

    1. Click Start, type Regedit and press ENTER

    2. Navigate to the following location:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Advanced
    3. On the rights side pane right clcik and Create a new DWORD value named ExtendedUIHoverTime

    4. Now Double-click ExtendedUIHoverTime and choose Decimal type

    5. To increase the delay more than 10000 or 10 seconds type any value greater than this

    6. Exit Registry and Log off and Login back to see changes.

    Default thanks!

I already had DWORD value, ExtendedUIHoverTime so I just changed that...
Set at 4000, and 'text only' checked on the Tweaker, and 'always combine'
checked on the taskbar properties, I think I'm set.

I wouldn't have known how to do that - thank you.

How do people find these values? MinThumbSizePx also works.

For those who don't want to log off/on, my quick method of restarting explorer is 'tskill explorer' in cmd.exe and pressing the up arrow key will retype the last command making multiple explorer restarts easy

    Code:
    C:\Users\BMN>tskill explorer
    C:\Users\BMN>tskill explorer
    C:\Users\BMN>tskill explorer
    C:\Users\BMN>tskill explorer
    C:\Users\BMN>tskill explorer
    C:\Users\BMN>tskill explorer
    C:\Users\BMN>tskill explorer
    ...
    Beats using taskmgr.exe!
