Thumbs up Feedback: Start My Day utility for Windows 7

Start My Day is a first of its kind freeware for Windows users. Simply put, Start My Day is for those users who hate going through the same process each day, loading this and that.

With Start My Day, a user can pre-configure a list of applications web links and music to automatically load using an Alarm clock. A user also has the option of running them manually from the list. The application supports dragging and dropping items to the list as well as browsing for items.

Start My Day has been developed by our TWCF member L.W.

If you require help or wish to give feedback please do so here.

Everytime I run it an unhandled exception comes:

You should directly add the about text in the text box instead of getting it from the file.

I added it as an afterthought. It's a prewritten textfile. The error happens when the user deletes the file. Thanks for noting.

I have decided to really expand on this project, thanks to how well it has been received. If anyone has any requests for file types or any new ideas, shoot me a message.

Currently working on adding a new tab for Document's and Video
    Expanding File types
    Apps: MSI, ISO
Web links will hopefully support Firefox, Chrome and Opera (More on request)
(If anyone knows any tutorials on creating Firefox and Chrome Bookmark files I would appreciate it, as I don't use the browsers and after downloading them I realized the Bookmarks are stored in a single file on these)

Music: Wav, WMA, MIDI and anymore I come up with.

Separating the System Tray app from the main application to keep resources to the extreme bare minimum. Not always a concern anymore for newer pc's but I do not like any application that uses more resources than I deem necessary.

Please advise how Start-My-Day can be safely uninstalled? When I try to open the app, this message appears: "Application has generated an exception that could not be handled..." Process & Thread IDs follow. OS is Vista Premium Home edition SP2.

There is no uninstall. delete the folder C:\your username\appdata\roaming\start my day
and the application folder for the main app and it is removed. The application does not install anywheres else other than the temp folder for the settings.

If you have removed the about.txt file from the main folder, this is why you are receiving this error. Next version coming in the next few days will have it embedded so users can't remove it.

Also if you would post the error message log. It would greatly help figure out why you are receiving this message. If not for you, but for future reference so I can resolve it.
