Wink Mozilla Officially Announced Firefox 13

Mozilla have released Firefox 13 with some new features, such as a redesigned home page as well a new tabs on demand feature. Mozilla have officially announced this build and have shed some light on the features available with this update.

Firefox makes it faster and easier to get where you want to go on the Web with a redesigned Home Page and New Tab experience. The Home Page now includes icons at the bottom of the page to give you easy access to bookmarks, history, settings, add-ons, downloads and sync preferences with one-click shortcuts.

When you open a new tab, you’ll see thumbnails of your most recently and frequently visited sites. You can customize the New Tab page by adding or removing thumbnails based on where you go most. Introducing an addition to this update, Mozilla states that it now supports SPDY by default to make browsing more secure.

-Download Firefox on your Mac, Windows or Linux computer

Works great for me. I like it. Love the new thumbnails (Chrome style) when you start.

But Chrome is always best than other browsers!

The new update seems to have messed up by add tab button, pushing it to the left. Annoying.

If you like a memory hog with limited functionality, sure.

    Otherwise Opera is superior.

Opera is a damn nice browser, but Opera is a bit more limited than Firefox. Firefox has a lot more functionality, third party involvement, etc.. I'm not saying Opera is bad at all, I used to prefer it for a long time, but it is a lot more limited than Firefox or Chrome.
