Quick question, does this have to be done within a certain period? I'm holding off using it until I get a new laptop in the next couple months, and I just want to know if it can wait or if it has to be done *now*?

Strange ...
The picture you put the registration form is completely different from what is displayed when I access the address. The content is much simpler with only:

Serial Number:
Country:
First Name:
Last Name:
Company Name:
Telephone:
Note:

The title is "Register & Activate NOD32 Antivirus" and not "Activate ESET Software" as in his image - believe that this is the problem in my case.

William : I dont think one has to activate it right away. But once activated, the 6m period starts. But let me re-confirm this with ESET.

Anderson T : Could you please post a screen-shot of the webpage, which gets displayed in your case ? Pls clear your cache and try again. May I also know which country you're from? Maybe that is the reason. In any case I will check this issue out too with ESET and get back to you.

I am getting the same form as shown in figure with some of these entries that are must be filled...
