I have used both IE and Firefox but, I have to say, no matter how many times I install firefox I always end up going back to Internet Explorer.

I use IE9 most of the time (IE10 with Win8), but also use Firefox at times. IE has improved by leaps and bounds and I love it. Firefox is a great browser, but has gotten bloated and slow lately. Still, love the massive amounts of extensions available!

I figure that the top alternative browsers have enough security coupled with Windows Firewall, a good AV, and smart browsing.

Personally I prefer Chrome and Firefox...I use IE only when I am performing manual cross browser testing of website for my client.

Recently I started using eggPlant, the automated GUI tool for cross browser testing, so I don't need to use IE as such.
