Question IE 8 freezing when loading PCAdvisor website

Hi I am using IE8 which seems to be working fine most of the time, but I have a problem.

When I visit pcadvisor.co.uk, it freezes completley and the only way that I can come out of it is to shut IE8 and restart again. I do not have the same problem in Firefox 3.35. I have done a complete idepth scan via KIS and Malawarebites and even went to pcpitsop to checj my system out and all is fine. This only happens on this one site and happens no matter what time of day or night I go on it.

Anyone got any ideas why this should happen and solution to correct it?

Woah ... even my IE8 froze when trying to load Welcome - PC Advisor the first time. Had to be restarted

Maybe because the site has too many scripts/ads/etc ... !?

    Default Solution

The best solution to this matter is:

    Stop using Internet Explorer.
Its been the bain of web Development Since IE6 and still doesn't support all of the web standards!
    Download Firefox, Chrome or Opera.
