European Commission: Market Test Browser Option in Windows 7
Press Conference, Brussels:
I am pleased to announce that the Commission will formally market test proposals made by Microsoft to address the Commission's concerns regarding the tying of Internet Explorer to the Windows PC operating system.
Article includes a recorded statement by Brad Smith, General Counsel, Microsoft Corporation, regarding the European Commissionís decision to market test a set of measures Microsoft has offered to address competition law issues relating to Windows, Office and other high volume products.

Please everyone take time to read the statement fully as it is important to understand the situation clearly and to refute any of the MS knockers that are out there. It is very that a lot of work has been done by MS and EU to reach agreement. Thank you Corrine for posting this here for us all.

Thank you Corrine,
To be honest I do not dislike Opera Browser, but now "thanks" to Opera ASA and UE we europeans are tired to wait for a final decision.
We want Windows 7 as soon as possible and with Internet Explorer included, who do not want to use IE can simply not to use it.
