In a way IE6 was pretty good and not as bloated as' his son Internet Explorer Seven, and grand-daughter Internet Explorer Eight'.
Indeed a great loss to all us retro cybernauts...

But I guess we're not to mourn yet.
A lotta companies apparently still use IE6 for their company's intranet..

    hi !

my university has a lot of thin-clients using IE6 on the servers,
i have used it daily, actually last time was today !

although i discovered that sometimes after logging in i get IE7,
so i have invented a little trick, closing the browser so it disconnects from the server and then restarting it again,
then after several attempts i usually manage to get IE7...

It would be interesting to see the snaps.

    Btw: check http://www.techflash.com/seattle/201...6_funeral.html

"Thanks for the good times IE6," the card from the IE team reads. "See you all @ MIX when we show a little piece of IE Heaven."

Amazing service of a decade, internet wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for IE6, RIP IE6

    Cheers!
