Help in installing prerequiste for IE 9 beta
i was trying to install IE9 on my pc using Windows Ultimate (32 bit)
Now this requires 3 updates to install before going ahead. so when i downloaded these files ( version x86 from ) and when i start installation then a small window appears which
says " searching for updates on this computer...." and this process continues as is and there is no update installed at all and more over this process doesnt cancels till PC is shuted down.
Please help me in installing the prerequiste

what operating system are you using ?
what is "Windows Ultimate (32 bit)", Vista or Windows 7 ?
how did you try to install IE9 ?
did you download the FULL installer ?
i also had problems with IE9, but the FULL installer worked, so try that, as it contains all needed upgrades.

IE9 beta installer will automatically identify the required updates and install them before proceeding with its installation.

yes Andy, thatīs correct.
however, that didnīt work for me, so i downloaded the FULL installer.
there are 2 installers: the "MINI" is 2.3MB, the "FULL" is 18.9MB.
if you run the MINI, it downloads all the rest that is needed, the FULL is a "standalone"/ "complete package".

I am using Windows 7 (32 bit). now even after the Full installer it askes for Updates manually and and those prerequiste are not installed at all. Please help

Hello and Welcome !
Go through this article and apply all the Prerequisites Prerequisites for installing Internet Explorer 9 Beta then try to install IE9 Beta.
