Question How to set Firefox as default browser for ALL programs and functions

I'm not quite sure how to word this question but here goes !!!!

Ok, Now when you click on a link on a website that automatically triggers the opening of a browser, more often than not, it will call for IE...... Which dutifully opens with no problem. I prefer Firefox, is there ANY way to get things where they open my browser ????? I do have FF designated as the default browser, but this doesn't seem to make a difference. Any help along these lines is greatly appreciated folks !!!!!

Many many thank ya's ahead of time !!!!

    Have a good one !!!

right-click on such links and "copy shortcut", then open a new FF-tab & paste the link.

Exclamation Just some related info here....

Hope someone may be able to use this .....

    mozdev.org - maf: installation

This page at Mozilla contains an add-on to make Firefox fully compatible with .mht and .mhtml files.... given my situation, I thought I'd give this a try as well......
