    Simple answer. Uninstall IE9. Your OS will automatically revert to IE8.

    But have you tried the compatibility option (Tools - Compatibility.)

    Click the Compatibility View button, which appears next to the address bar. If it works, great, else as davec has suggested, uninstalling IE9 is the way to go.

    Why Chrome/Firefox/Opera etc... even older IE versions.
    Add the following meta tag and attribute to your website.

    Code:
    <html>
    <head>
    ------------
    <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8" />
    ------------
    </head>
    <body>
    ------------
    ------------
    </body>
    </html>

    Hi there,

    If you want to uninstall IE9

    Click the Start button , type Programs and Features in the search box, and then click View installed updates in the left pane.

    Under Uninstall an update, scroll down to the Microsoft Windows section.

    Right-click Windows Internet Explorer 9, click Uninstall, and then, when prompted, click Yes.

    But I would recommend you to talk to your IT guys or website administrator and see if they can make it compatible with rk's method.
