Thumbs up Microsoft Translator Widget for your website or blog. - 03-20-2009, 01:21 PM

Microsoft Translator team has announced a translator widget for web pages at MIX09. This widget helps Web developers to let users translate their Web site into other languages without having to leave the page. Built on top of the Microsoft Translator AJAX API, which was also announced at the MIX09, is a small, customizable widget that you can place on your web page and it helps you instantly makes the page available in multiple languages.

At the moment, the team is also working on making the widget even more polished and customizable. They’re also adding new features like “Automatic” translations on page load, multiple layouts/views and other features.

Ive tried it on the demo site and I must say its extra-ordinarily fast !

I've just gone to the link and itr seems really great. I hope that they will extend it so it can work within mail clients as that would be really handy as I have friends all over the world and would love for them to be able to read the emails I send in their own lanuage and not struggle with my bad english.Great find Andy I am going to try it on my web page and I'll let you know if it works soon

You have to ask for an invite to use this currently. But it will soon be available for all, free.

Curently there is this option, but it opens in a new page and you have to leave the site.
