If you have problem after installing Internet Explorer 8 (known incompatibility issues are listed here: Release Notes for Internet Explorer 8 ) and want to remove it to revert back to IE 7 , Microsoft Fix-it team has developed an uninstaller for IE 8, UninstallIE80.MSI

How do I uninstall or remove Internet Explorer 8?

Note that it will create a restore point before starting to remove all traces of IE 8 from system.

Personally tested: it works fine

I'm glad to be helpful whs
This tool removes all traces of IE 8 from registry too, sometimes simply using control panel to uninstall IE 8 is not enough for those who got problems.
