    Default Office 2010 First Impressions

Spent a few minutes trying Office 2010, here's what I've found so far:

    1. Jumplists are available only in Outlook 2010.
    2. 'Insert' now has Screen shot option, which by default will show you currently open windows for 'quickinsert' also has the marqquee if you want to select & insert.
    3. The new splash screen looks great. The animation is nice.
    4. The programs load very fast.
    5. The themes did not work for me.
    6. Powerpoint does not have any new templates as yet, maybe later builds will.

    Screen shot:

PS: Keeping both Office 2007 & 2010 is a hassle. Every time you run 2k7 after 2010, it runs setup configuration. Same is the case if you run 2010 after 2k7, it runs the setup configuration.

Try the new Windows Virtual PC.. The integrated application virtualization will allow you to run both without any issue..

Anyway, here are some screenshot of 2010, Quick look (screenshot) at the leaked version of Microsoft Office 2010 Technical preview | Choto Cheeta Online

    LOL

As a matter of fact MS wrote: "as a heads up, because we want to ensure our customers are safe, we have been monitoring various torrents and already detected quite a few that were infected. As a reminder, the Win 7 leak was used as a vector for attack and it’s not surprising to see this being used the same way. So, please be aware that if you download this torrent there is a very good chance you are also getting some unexpected malware with it."

Well, what kind of malware was quite detected?
