How do I get my microsoft office to open?
I took my computer to Geek Squad last week to have a virus removed. When my computer was returned, my microsoft office will not work properly. I get the following message "Microsoft Office Word has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install the application." I have tried to run the setup wizard with my Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 disc, but it will not work. How can I get my Microsoft Office to work again?

Probably virus cause some problem with some windows file check and repair your system file with following cmd. go to run type sfc /scannow . If you use windows xp then you need a XP disk.
Repair or reinstall office after that.
Even if it not work let us know.

Pls see if something here at You receive a "Microsoft <Program_name> has not been installed for the current user" error message helps you.
