Check Weather Cache is ON (i.e disconnected from the original notebook on a file share)

AHSO, are you getting any messages when trying to open the links or is it just not doing anything at all?

Yes, just when trying to open the links.
Meanwhile in Word, i can click on links and it opens them in Firefox perfectly.
I did a fresh install of Windows 7 and then used the OneNote backup to restore my data in OneNote and then copied the contents to OneNote's new section that I created.
Really don't know what went wrong or what is wrong that I am getting this message.
I really liked OneNote to store temp links to be able to open them later in a snap.
    Thx.

I think I figured it out. I might have copied the backup of OneNote in the wrong place. I will copy my OneNote data to the Word. Do a fresh install of Windows later, and Install OneNote and see if it will open links. Will report it here.
