Word merge help
I have a Word merge document with 98 merge codes inserted. My client does not want the position of the merge code on the document to change if there is more text than what will fit in the space provided. If there is not enough space available, they only want to see whatever text will fit.
Conducting internet searches returned an idea of inserting a table. Then, navigating to; Table Properties>Cell Tab>Options> then selecting "Fit text". This method does work however it will force me to "start over" if-you-will, with placement, fonts, additional merge code, etc. Does anyone know an easier way of accomplishing this?
