I know that the OneNote extracted from a scan to Word does work but I stupidly omitted to note down the steps I took to make that happen. I then read the following when I keyed "OCR using One Note" into the Internet.

"To extract text from a single picture you've added into OneNote:"

1.Right-click the picture, and click Copy Text from Picture.

2.Click where you'd like to paste the copied text, and then press Ctrl+V.

I tried the above but it didnt work.

I then read somewhere else, "You can choose to copy the text from the printout and insert it as plain text in OneNote. To extract text from a single picture you’ve added into OneNote, right-click the picture, and click Copy Text from Picture.

The problem is that no matter what I do I can't find the instructions, Copy Text from Picture" anywhere.

I have placed this thread on two other Windows Forums with no luck and would very much appreciate some help.
I then tried to see what would happen if I attempted to update the OneNote I have by virtue of running Windows 10 and a message came up saying I could not as I am running 32 bit when I thought I was one 64 bit. Fed up by then I attempted to uninstall OneNote but it refused to go so I'm in a ness.
