Default wlm chat window: corrupt header background

anyone knows a solution to this problem plz let me know

    i've uninstalled wlm2009 v14.0.8089.726
    -the whole live thing
-found an app to scrub every folder and file about wlm or live off my system,
    -rebooted
-reinstalled live (wlm. gallery and moviemaker)

nada, chat window's header background is still same ugly and corrupted (it looks like the lower part of the letter "g" in blue on a white background. but my theme is red, it doesn't fit)

(i'd show you but not allowed to post urls!)

hi andy, ty for a quick reply

i tried zapmess , it zapped my mesenger but after rebooting and reinstalling from the live website the problem still remains.

    here's what i mean: http://www.flickr.com/photos/3913039...7622953350835/

the red part is fine, but you can see the big white bar and blue half circle, how can i have that match the theme ?

If its a 3rd party theme, then maybe that theme is not compatible with this release of WLM. Could that be the reason?

For the 'scene', WLM takes the center part of the image and sets it, irrespective of the image size. Try using a few different images and set them as your scene, then you may understand what I am trying to say. I think this could be the reason...

i changed the decoration, i used a photo for decoration, but the white part still remains. even if i uncheck use default decor.

make sure you don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to change the red part of the window, i want the white part to match it like it used to. ty

ps: now even the contact list has that white blue decoration after switching from the red to the default one.
