We saw a large addressable audience who would require a service such as this to make email available to them while on the go. We wanted to ensure that it's simple, easily accessible and absolutely free! So now consumers are connected anytime anywhere and can actually carry their Hotmail in their pocket", said Prashant Thakur, Head Mobile Services & Search, Microsoft India Pvt. Ltd.

Yup the 10 GB attachment size limit would be gradually rolled out, though it doesn't mean we could send much larger files, the single file limit would be 50 mb

For each SMS you send to Windows LiveMobile SMS services you will only be charged your standard messaging rates by your operator.

This offer is valid for three months.

If you click on a link in a Windows Live Hotmail SMS, you may be charged separately for accessing the Web on your mobile device.
