    Default Disable ads from windows live messenger Beta or Wave 4

    Go to System32\Driver\etc and take full control of Hosts file.
    Now add the following line in it and save it.

    127.0.0.1 rad.msn.com

    Thatís it.

    Great tip.

    So simple and obvious that you woulda thunk we all woulda automatically thunk it!

    And it serves a purpose outside of Messenger...

    I often see (and am annoyed by) ads & popups from this same URL when I am checking for info on MS Tech and similar MS sites.

    Now I can brush them aside.
