    Default Use Hotmail without changing your email address

    Microsoft has begun rolling out a feature that makes it easy to use Hotmail with any existing email address. Just as you can use Microsoft Outlook with an address from any service, you can now do the same with Hotmail on the web.

    Download SIW. When installed run it and then click on the Installed Programs key.
    You'll end up with a list of all your installed programs. Most programs will have an installer number and Live messenger definitely will.

    By right clicking the window you can copy all the programs details and drop them in a txt file.

    Now would be a good time to make a Restore Point.

    Open an elevated command prompt and type in the following:- msiexec /x
    Then copy and paste the number relevant to Messenger into the command window so your line will look something like this:-

    msiexec /x{6412CECE-8172-4BE5-935B-6CECACD2CA87}

    Note the space between msiexec and /x.
    Hit enter. After a couple of seconds you should get a prompt asking you if you really want to uninstall the program.
    That should take care of it! Now you just need to do that with every piece of Live Essentials you have on your PC.
    HINT!! Apart from the names, the install dates will help you out as well.
