Question 7-Zip does not recognize Windows Live Mail

I installed 7-Zip utility. But when I use the right click option to compress and email files, it does not recognise my default Windows Live Mail client, but asks me to Microsoft Outlook as the default mail client.

Any workaround? Or maybe suggest another good zipping utility which is free.

    TIA.

    Hi there,

I think it's an issue with 7-zip. Try this application it's similar to 7-zip 7zip Scenic by ~laushung on deviantART

    According to author
"Now 7zip can run beside programs like Windows Live Mail and Windows Explorer and look like a native application."
Edit: That application doesn't seems like give a context menu option. Here is one that is quiet popular but I haven't tried it yet http://download.cnet.com/ZipGenius-S...-10179818.html

Take a look at Hamster Free ZIP Archiver which looks promising. I haven't tried it - yet.
