Bing admits it is slow at indexing
A query at the Bing Forums:
"I have submitted my website, Kid and Parent, to the Webmaster Console, using a sitemap.xml almost 6 weeks ago. It is a new website with unique content and Bing calculates about 14 Backlinks to it. However, just the homepage has been indexed so far (with help from Brett). G and Y have indexed almost 400 and 200 pages respectively. Any pointers on what I can do to get indexed by Bing?"
Brett Yount, who is the Program Manager at Bing Webmaster Center, responded:
"It is well known in the industry that MSNbot is fairly slow..."
But wait, it gets better. Here's the sticky from the "sites not in the index" section of the Bing Forum:
If your site is not in the index, please do the following:
1. verify in our tools that your site is not blocked
2. run a site: query to verify there are no pages in the index
3. Copy the URL of the site query and post on this thread.
I will work with you to at least get your home page indexed.
How can Microsoft expect Bing to compete with Google if it can't even handle the simple task of indexing a page within an acceptable time frame?

Well personally speaking its been my experience too. While I find Google indexing a new TWC post in a couple of hours, Bing takes a couple of days to do so!.

Sad but good that it's atleast better than the old Live search. It's evolving and we can just hope it gets better. It will. It will have to.

Google is still RULING over Internet Search.

As Andy just mentioned his experiences. I would like to +1 to it. Indexing has nt been very good for posts @ my site WindowsVJ.com as well. I rely on google for the same.

+1 from me also. submitted my blog URL to Bing 1 month ago but it is still not indexed
, submitted to Google also at same time and it was indexed on the same day
Bing's indexing is really very much slow, it requires frequent upgrading bot algorithm's to be implemented...

I have given my blog url to Bing 2 months before...and forgot about it. After seeing this topic I again checked it out and found that only 3 urls have been indexed.
May be they are MANUALLY indexing
