Microsoft Announces the Windows 8 editions
- 17th April 2012, 16:02 #2
I'm glad they are going simple on this one. I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about the Windows 8 RT edition, though. I don't get the hate, though. It sounds like they are complaining just to complain.
There are so many things out there with full names that are never used. I'm going to buy a Windows 8 tablet. Unless I'm a techie, I'll never know that it's technically a "Windows 8 RT OS powered by an ARM CPU touchscreen tablet device".
So far, it looks like Windows 8 may be getting more trolls than Vista ever did. They are complaining about anything and everything - the SKU name of a tablet edition that isn't even available to purchase as an end user. I can't wait to see/hear the complaining when they release the box art for the retail boxes. I know there will be a lot of complaining on that one, too!

That's good! But, what is the difference between Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro?
