Default Windows 8 CP usage twice that of Windows 7 Beta usage

The Building Windows 8 team has tweeted -

Windows 8 consumer preview usage more than twice Windows 7 beta at the same point in time. Millions of people using everyday.

Looks like Windows 8 is on a roll, criticism about its start screen notwithstanding.

    What do you guys thing?

No doubt Windows 8 is fast and fluid.. It works like a charm.. But the Window screens and Themes are very basic, looks like Ubuntu.. And the Start screen was never so impressive.,.
But the way it operates is really exceptional...

I like Win8. With proper organization of the start screen and the desktop it works just as well as Windows 7, but faster. And it has some nifty new functions - e.g. task manager, the IE10 tab version, etc.

What I don't like is the UEFI bootmgr. It is a pain for double booting. There are also some problems that I could not yet track down if you run Win8 and Win7 side by side - e.g. running Win8 from a stick or a USB or eSata attached disk. In this case the Win8 corrupts the Win7 partitions real bad.

I use Win 8 as my primary OS and I haven't had any issues and this is just the beta, so Hopefully the final version is just as good or better. I love the new task manager and IE10 seems like a winner. Although I'm not a fan of windows reader, Couldn't find a way to zoom or print. So I had to download adobe reader. I Do wish that the Metro Home screen did have a search function, rather than having to slide to the right hand side
