Windows 8 to be available on October 26, 2012 !

We knew that Windows 8 is on track and will Release to Manufacturing (RTM) in first week of August and will reach general availability (GA) by the end of October! But the GA date was not known.
And the GA date has been just announced. We have a specific date ! Mark your Calendars… Save the date…
Its 26^th Oct 2012 !

I wonder if Surface will be available around the same time? I'm really wanting to pick up one of those (Pro model, not Win-RT).

Same here. I guess it should be available around that time, give or take a week or two. I hear Windows Phone 8 devices may be available in November ...

Surface Pro would be nice - for $199 to $250. If it is a lot more expensive I will go with the Google pad.
