Windows Store is now open for paid apps
Microsoft has announced that the Windows Store is now open for paid apps and company registrations.
According to the Windows Store blog, “any qualifying business in a supported market can now submit a Metro style app for Windows 8.” Developers won't be able to upload new apps to the store until they install the RTM, however, so August 15 will be a key date for them.

They have 450 apps now (Windows 8 store now up to 450 Metro-style apps | Windows 8 - CNET Reviews), I wonder how fast that number will increase between August 15th and October 26th? I'm guessing a lot of developers are going to want to get in early for the quick buck (or lack of).
