Everyone do give as much Feedback as you can. With the Built In Update Feature, new additions will be added regularly.![]()
Ultimate Windows Customizer is the first integrated freeware that offers you almost everything that can be customized in a Windows installation – well everything that matters, atleast!
See Installation screenshots | UWC UI screenshots.
If you have any bugs to report, feedback to give, support to request or tweak suggestions to offer, you may do so here. Its developer Lee will be happy to help you out.
Note: If you receive an Update to UWC and aftwards receive the Msgbox and an Error that process couldn't start. Disregard this. The Download is Automatically extracted to your Desktop. Once downloaded, you will need to Manually install the new version. I missed a bit of code after I had decided to switch to a Professional Installer instead of the one I was writing and the way it is set is to Manually install. This Msgbox and Error Box will no longer be an issue once UWC is Updated from v1.0.0.0.
I apologize for any convenience,
Lee Whittington
Before posting issues that are being caused from users running Ultimate Windows Customizer on different language versions other than English. Currently Ultimate Windows Customizer supports English (EN) only. Multilanguage support will be coming in a future update.

Nice ! Will try it.
So "Built In Update Feature" means , we dont have to download for every new update, it''ll get updated when the new update arrives. Right?

Vasudev: The Update Feature will work similar to apps like CCleaner. When there is an update available, a dialog will open to download the new update. Once downloaded it will replace the current app with the new one.
LOL, I guess I should worded it a tad differently. I had originally coded it to automatically download and replace files but gave it a ton of thought that it might be better to advise the user that an update is available and let them click the download button.
Hi there, when I click on "Explorer" on the left hand side I get a fairly extensive error regarding .net security issues. I don't seem to be allowed to post a screenshot however.
i get the same net error i posted details below.
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

If anyone gets this error and would like to help me narrow it down quickly:
Open Regedit and navigate to the following Registry Key:
Right-Click this Registry Key and select Permissions. Check Permissions for Administrator and if available, your Username.HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\CLASSES\CLSID\{F02C1A0D-BE21-4350-88B0-7367FC96EF3C}
Next, click Advanced then Owner and check to see if it says Trusted Installer, Administrator or your Username.
Permissions should be FULL for Administrator and\or your Username and the Owner should be either Administrator or your Username.
If not then this is the issue.
Note: This is not the only location but one of several, so adjusting this key manually will still result in the same error if you run UWC. Please let me know so that I can update as fast as possible.![]()
L.W. You da Man!!! I love it already!

Hello,
As always another great little program.
One error I keep getting is when I select "Enable the Taskbar Mini player" it starts to run a restore point then I get a error "unable to stop service" then it locks up? I run it as admin so not sure what else to do. Here is what the error log saves.
"Windows Mediaplayer Panel: Error Stopping Service Logged at: 11/23/2011 6:37:35 PM
Windows Mediaplayer Panel: The system cannot find the path specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070003) Logged at: 11/23/2011 6:37:52 PM"
I am really looking foward to having that feature back (xp and vista)
Have a wonderful Thankgiving and thank you again for all your great programs !
