    Default FixWin 10

Downloaded FixWin 10.exe and unzipped to folder. However, when I double click on the exe nothing happens. The FixWin program does not start up. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

What you want FixWin10.exe to fix you might first want to run same by both HappyAndyK and hackerman1 -- maybe they can spare you some troubles.

Check in the Task Manager. Kill any fixwin.exe process you may see. Or else restart your PC.

Now right-click on FixWin and select Run as administrator. See if it helps.

I would like to know whether Windows Store and other Windows apps have been fixed. Many of my Windows apps do not open; they are installed but their icons are clouded out. FixWin10 recommends nor to re-register the apps if the Nov. update has been installed. I have tried several other fixes but none has helped including reloading Windows 10 with the Media Creation Tool.

Looks like Microsoft still hasn't fixed the issue. You can try in a virtual machine.

Thumbs up Thank You "Fixwin 10"

I have been trying for three days to get Windows 10 to connect through firefox/chrome to the internet without success. I have researched (thru Edge) for a solution to no avail until I happened upon your sight. I downloaded your program and boom, all fixed. Wow! You know what you are doing and I will be a fan of this sight from now on. Just wished I had found this sight 3 days ago.

When I start the fixwin10 it comes up with a warning message "Access Denied" exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)). I can continue the program but every solution I try gives a simular answer.
The problem with my computer (a HP Pavilion dv6) started after a virus that windows essentials didn't see. The computer needs 20 minutes to boot. No modern tiles. Any idea?
