Question Windows Apps not working after moving Program Files directory off my SSD

    Hello,

My windows Apps are not working since I moved my Program Files directory off my ssd to my hdd.
I left a symbolic link in my SSD, everything else works beside that.

I get an error like this one (french Windows): Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

I also changed the Apps install directory in regedit like explained here: Change default Program Files directory in Windows 8

    Can you help me ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Elv.

Note from Moderator: I fixed the links.
Next time don´t put the links in CODE-tags, just post as plain text.

Since this an english forum, that image with an errormessage in French doesn´t tell us much....
If you want help, then please post in english.

You can use Google Translate if you need help translating....

The error doesn't say much, I just showed the image for you to see what happens when I try to launch an app.

The error says : "Impossible to launch this app. A problem with windows prevents the launching of xbox. Reseting your PC might help to correct it."

Here it's xbox but I get the same exact message for all the apps.

Anyway thanks for your quick answer !

Actually to move the Store apps you have to follow this procedure: Move Windows 10 apps to other drive. Change install location

BUT the Move installed apps and New apps will save to setting appears to be greyed out in the final version of Windows 10.

I am inclined to believe that a Reset may be the way for you.
