    Microsoft no longer lets you get rid of the lock screen in Windows 10 Anniversary Update?

    any1 knows anything, I've been digging without finding anything,

    all the last known methods do not work anymore

    Mirosoft has removed this feature for some reasom. And yes I know that there is some way, where you edit registry, create script to run and add it via the Task Schedular to run when conditions are met. Too much work.

    There's not one final solution. I'm not sure but I think Microsoft has limited this feature to Enterprise and Education editions. UWT 4.2 can disable the lock screen if you lock the system using Win+L.

    nothing worked actually, I just installed 8.1 on my surface pro 3, so much nicer to use
    I also read somewhere that microsoft wants to use this in the future for ads
    8.1 it is and not A SINGLE COMPLAINT

    There's a way now to disable the lock screen by modifying the LogonController.dll and seems to work great with no issues so might be worth a try (Change the xx in the address as I'm not yet allowed to post links
