    Default Extract All context menu item is missing

    I understand that Windows 10 has a default ZIP file zip/unzip feature but the "Extract All" option is not on my rightt click file context menu.

    Is there a setting I need to find or is there a problem?

    Do you use a 3rd-party file compression software like 7-Zip, etc? If so then the Extract All context menu item may go missing.

    Anyway, try the following and see if any one of these suggestions help:

    1] Open Control Panel > Set Default programs. Look for File Explorer and click on Set this program as default.

    2] If you are familiar with the Registry, ensure that this key exists else create it:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CompressedFolder\ShellEx\Context MenuHandlers\{b8cdcb65-b1bf-4b42-9428-1dfdb7ee92af}

    3] Open Run box and re-register the concerned DLL file.

    First type this and hit Enter:

    regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll

    Now type this in the Run box and hit Enter:

    regsvr32 zipfldr.dll
