Default PoweeShell fix to restore Windows Store does not work

The Powershell fix to restore the Windows Store does not work. After the Creators Fall Update the Store has vanished. I have tried the Troubleshooter and the Poweshell fix:

    Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}.

The latter does not respond at all. I am now unable to update some failing apps or download new ones. Can someone advise please?

Have you tried resetting Store cache?
    Press Windows +R
    Type Wsreset.exe and press Enter

    Else try this PowerShell script
In the Search box, type CMD From search result, right click on Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator
In the command prompt, enter the command:

    PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command "& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}"

Or it can be your user account itself might be corrupted...so to crosscheck create a new user account & see from that account if the Store app works.
