    Shaan, W7 is release2 of Vista and there have been some improvements made - especially in the use of system resources. But it is more of an evolution rather than a revolution.

    Según una nota de la distribuidora estadounidense Best Buy, la version Home Premium costaría 99 dólares y la Professional 149.

    Una vez que se conoce que Windows 7 llegará a las tiendas de todo el mundo el próximo 22 de octubre, uno de los secretos que quedan por desvelar es el precio del nuevo sistema operativo de Microsoft.
    Ante esto, son muchos los rumores que circulan por Internet. Sin embargo, una nota interna de la cadena de distribución americana Best Buy, que se ha filtrado en la Red, da pistas sobre el posible precio de comercialización de Windows 7, al menos en Estados Unidos.



    Según la nota, la actualización al nuevo sistema operativo, para le edición Home, costará 44,99 dólares, mientras que será de 99,99 dólares para la versión profesional.
    Además, si esto se confirma, significaría que las versiones completas en retail del sistema operativo costarían 99 y 149 dólares (Home Premium y Professional respectivamente), lo que podría suponer una reducción de precios de más del 50% en comparación con el precio con el que salió al mercado Windows Vista.
