    It has improved, I do not know the changelog but now finally recognized my (desktop PC with XP Pro) graphic card as Win 7 Aero compatible:-)

    Can Microsoft, install Windows 7 on my computer from their site???

    No, of course.
    This tool is meant to check if your P.C is Windows 7 compatible (drivers, hardware, software).
    Then you can decide if you want to buy "Windows 7 upgrade" or "Windows 7 full"

    It was very difficult to paste and copy from Microsoft
    Listen: my laptop running Vista is less Win 7 compatible than my desktop running XP Pro :-))
