Default Readyboost Problem: Windows could not start the Superfetch service on Local Computer

My system is newly formatted and I have a problem in readyboost. There's an error in readyboost tab.

    Code:
This device cannot be use in ReadyBoost.

ReadyBoost is not enable because the service responsible for ReadyBoost (Sysmain) has been turned off on this computer. An administrator can turn the Sysmain service back on.
I go to services.msc -> superprefetch (sysmain). I see that the service is set to automatic but it didn't start. I manually start the service but I got this error:

    Code:
Windows could not start the Superfetch service on Local Computer.

Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.
I don't know what to do. Please help me. Thank you very much.

    1. On what device is your OS installed (HDD, SSD?)
    2. What is the access time and R/W times of your Ready Boost stick ( measure that with HD Tune website )

Yes, you are right, this normally souldnt be happening on a newly reformatted Windows. Strange it is happening.

I presume you are using HDD. If you are using SSD, Windows may disable Superfetch .

I am listing down below the general troubleshooting steps. Please see in any of these help you.

    1) Type services.msc in start search, right click and Run it as Admin.

Double-click Superfetch service to open its Properties box.

Ensure that Superfetch service is set on automatic and started.

Under Recovery tab, ensure that options under all failures are Restart the Service

Also ensure that Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service is set on automatic and started.

    2) Open regedit and navigate to the following registry key:

    HKLM\system\CurrentControlSet\services\sysmin

Take full control of this registry key.

Now see if the problem still persists.

    3) Run sfc /scannnow

    4) Try doing a Repair Install of your OS.

    Hope something helps.

Sorry for a late response. Thank you very much guys for the solutions. I do some troubleshooting this couple of days until I do a repair install (thank you very much HappyAndyK). I'm afraid to do a repair install because I though that all my user settings and program settings are lost which is really pain, but windows 7 have a good repair install. It preserve all the user settings and also program settings which is really great! even my manual tweaks is preserve. Now my readyboost is working and also windows 7 buildin parental control which have a problem after installing windows live parental control.

    Again thank you very much.
