Default Sipping Tool Hotkey will not work when IE is in full screen mode

I have done online searches to figure out how to assign a hotkey to the snipping tool function.

I need this to work when I have IE in full screen mode, so that I can "snip" the whole screen. When IE is in full screen mode, there is no access to anything, unless it's a shortcut function (like Ctrl+P for print).

Would anyone know how to create a hotkey that will work when IE is in full screen mode?

    Thank you.

You are right, the Snipping Tool hotkey does not work in IE full-screen mode. Never noticed this. Unless someone here has an idea, you might want to consider using a free Screen Capture Software.

Hmmm, it works for me! I have Ctrl + Alt + S assigned to the Snipping Tool. When IE11 is in full screen and I press that hot-key combo, the Snipping Tool menu appears and from there, I select Full-screen snip from the pop-down menu and it takes a screen shot.

    That's with W8.1 and IE11.

^ Good to hear that. Strangely it does not work for me too.
