I have an empty folder that cannot be deleted. Message tells me Folder no longer exists. Thanks for any suggestions. Cannot move it or rename it either.

    Good.

Tip: a file manager like Total Commander is always useful, especially when you have problems copying, moving,
    or deleting files and folders.

"Total Commander, Version 8.52a, is a Shareware file manager for Windows® 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10, and Windows® 3.1."

The description says "Shareware", but there is actually no time-limit....
Which is why i´m posting the link here, even though the forum-rules (#1) says:
"Do not post links or URL´s to commercial software (shareware included !)"....

Chuckhig, would you mind sharing that batchfile? I'd like to have it in my toolbox if I ever need it.

I just tried to do the same for future reference and it has been removed. Wish I was smart enough to keep it. It worked. Sorry.if I get another by contacting the author,I will share for sure.

RD /S "\\?\C:\Users\Chuck\Desktop\bb" This code can be used. The "bb" is my file to be deleted. Insert your file name here and it should work. Hope this helps. My file was on my desktop,so just alter the path.
