The Get Windows 10 app icon on taskbar is back...
Long ago, I removed KB3035583. All was great.
Yesterday, I noticed that the windows 10 icon was back on my task bar. I looked for the KB3035583 and it was NOT installed.
I have done the Notification Area "customization" for the notifications and set Windows 10 (GWX) to HIDE icons and notifications. This just moved the icon to the "hidden icons" area.
How can I get rid of this pesky, malicious thing? I do not want WinX. I like my Win 7x64 just fine. It does what I want it to do without trying to make my desktop PC into a smart phone.
Please tell me there is a way PERMANENTLY REMOVE this pesky thing.

KB3035583 is being now offered as a Recommended Update. Please re-confirm that it is not installed.
Here are a few suggestions to Remove Windows 10 App icon from Windows 8.1 / 7 Taskbar.

Thank you Andy.
For some unknown reason, yesterday KB3035583 was NOT installed. Now, double checking, ir IS installed, as of 02/26/2016. *I* never installed it. I have not installed any Windows update this year. I'll be double checking my update settings to ensure that "auto update" is not checked.
Again, thanks. Aren't computers fun?
