How to remove Tiles from the Windows 8 start screen
I am using Windows 8. Every time I switch on my notebook, I see Tiles. But most of it are not used by me and I do not want to see them. Is there anyway I can remove them. Or, can I remove all the tiles and use a normal screen (ie, without tiles)?
Thanking you in advance.

Thank you for the reply. I have another question on tiles -->
There is a news tile. This tile shows news or headlines for the day. At home this tile do not show any news item. But when I take the notebook out of the city, ie, to some other city, I am able to see headlines. I do not know why I am not able to see news headlines in the news tile at home. If anybody know the answer, please reply. Thanking you in advance.

Are you using different Internet connections? Check your data settings. If you have a week connection Live Tiles may not show.

No, I am using one internet connection always. However, when I went out of the state, News showed without using any internet connection. All I did was activated wifi. Later I used 3 different connections and it still worked. Returning back home, it does not show anything. Thanx for early reply.
