Default Turn on System Protection for unity, but Local Drive is grayed out

    Hi,

    Windows 8.1

When I try the system restore to a previous point, in Windows 8.1, I choose one corresponding to a state of the PC prior to recent changes after which the problems have occurred.

But the disc select is in gray and not selectable, or "Local Disk C:"
"Turn on System Protection for unity" is also in gray and the forward button
so I can not move forward in the loading of the previous configuration.

    any help are welcome

is possible turn on the System Protection for unity with the prompt command and dos command.

    Default

Maybe System Restore has been disabled by the administrator.
    Check the Registry Settings.

See if something here helps you: System Restore not working.
