    Question What Are You Reading?

I thought this would be a good idea for an on-going thread, and since this forum is composed of members from around the globe, it would make it all the more interesting. A link to the book(s) would be appreciated, either to the publisher's site or Amazon, etc.

    So, what are you reading?

I usually read a couple books at the same time.

Ford The Man and the Machine. (As in the car company founder)

Five Families (As in the New York Mafia)

At the moment I am doing further research so I am re-reading Egypt The World of the Pharaohs and then I shall move onto another one of many reference books and try to pass a bookstore without going in and seeing another book that I might just need. For pleasure I have (being an old hippy) just re-read Lord of the Rings for the umpteenth time, and Nefertiti by Michelle Moran which is about the heritic and his beautiful wife, a good piece of fiction. sorry I don't have the links to them and I think that they would have a completely different IBSN number in the USA and different parts of the world than they do here. Having never used Amazon I don't know if they would be on there as I use my Local BookShop as I try to buy local for local jobs

Now I'm reading for the 5th time "1984" By George Orwell, one of my favourite novelist..

and another book in italian named "L'oro della camorra" ("The gold of camorra") a story written by Rosaria Capacchione (an italian journalist who fights against Camorra: as a consequence the members of this type of mafia menaced to kill her. I'm proud to be friend of Rosy Capacchione).

Yes, a link to the books would be appreciated.

I did have a copy of "Ford: The Man and the Machine" years ago, but never finished it. I don't know what happened to it though.
Currently, I am just about finished "Undaunted Courage" by Stephen E. Ambrose, an account of the Lewis & Clark Expedition.

It can tough, I know. Reading is escapism for me. I especially enjoy history, reading about those that faced the elements to discover something new, like the Lewis & Clark book I am just about finished reading.
