Smile Could someone suggest a good tool for web clipping and notetaking?

    Hi,

    Could someone help please:
I'm looking for a tool for personal notetaking and web clipping.
    I need:
    - local storage, no forced data upload
    - portable, no install
    - text clipping on hotkey
    - tag support
    - fast and lightweight
    - free or cheap

Until recently I've been using CintaNotes for that - and it's really
great, fast and really easy to use. But now I need to store pictures and Cinta comes short here, the author hasn't
    implemented this feature yet.
    So any advice? Thanks!

"Evernote" is the greatest organizational tool to ever hit the PC, the Mac, the web, the iPhone, and the Blackberrry. Yup, this great notetaker works on all these platforms at once. Capture a note on one platform - sync to all. Capture web content, search for your content, and sync around to all your desktop and portable devices! Try it, that is really awesome tool for web clipping and note taking! Thanks!

Thanks for the tip, but I said, no forced data upload. Evernote doesn't fit the bill in this regard. As far as I remember, all notes you take MUST be uploaded to Evernote servers. So no, thanks)

For web clipping I use the XPS writer that comes in every Win7. Push CTL+P and select the XPS writer as your printer. Then select the folder where you want to store it and give the clip a name (else it will not work). Done.

For note taking (in this context) I have no real good idea.

    Thanks, whs!
Will there be a possibility to also search inside of these XPSs? I use quite heavily the instant search feature of CintaNotes.
