Default How to center your taskbar icons in Windows 7

    Read this article:
How to center your taskbar icons in Windows 7 | The Windows Club
but I couldn't get it to work.

I can't find "Now right click on the new toolbar and uncheck Show Text and Show Title".

Someone to come up with an even more detailed explanation on this how-to?

It worked for me japp, just follow the instruction exactly as they are explain and you'll see it really works.
To find the: "Now right click on the new toolbar and uncheck Show Text and Show Title". Just do that, right click on the new MTTB that you create and you'll see the the "Show Text" and "Show Title" sections and then unchek them. Try dragging the new MTTB Toolbar first to the left and them right click and unchek.

I hope it works for you.

    Thanks

Didn't work for me. I'm not the only one from what I read at DevianArt.

I just had a quick go. Took me 5 times as long in PS! But it does work. Before(ish) and after below.

    Nice work, Elmer B.

Since then I've moved my taskbar to the left and feel it's better as is.

Glad you got it sorted! I must admit most of the other tutorials I've seen on other forums lose themselves in 50 words when 3 will do. Well done AndyK. Accuracy helps, verbosity loses. That was the easiest tut I've seen for doing this.
Glad the pictures (worth a thousand words!!) helped you out.
Sadly, what with me being a Luddite and still using the Quick Launch, it doesn't look "quite right". But now even I know how easy it is!

I have every icon that I use regularly on the taskbar rather than have shortcuts lined up and down the desktop. The icons stretch from end to end, and could start a second row. No need for centering.
